I got really into linocuts during art class and when I was asked to paint my favorite shoes, I in return requested to do a linocut of my converse shoes.
These shoes were a part of my classic american childhood...I would run around everywhere in them so I decided they would make a good object to work with.
I understand it turned out messy...but its only my second linocut so I still have a lot to improve on.

not too bad, just keep that registration tight. if you don't like the lines in the background, you could always cut a stencil to cover it while you ink the shoes.
